Monument of Independence

The impressive sight of Almaty and one of the main symbols of the city are all about the Monument of Independence, located on the Republic Square. The main idea of the image of the monument is the Golden Man, whose figure is located on the very top of the building and on the pages of Kazakhstan history, becoming a distinctive feature of the national culture of Kazakhstan.
