Valla Canyon

The distance of the Valla Canyon; which is located in Kastamonu’s Pınarbaşı province’s Muratbaşı village; from our city is 26 km. Valla Canyon, starts from the place where Devrekanı stream and Kanlıçay merges, spreads through the direction of Cide province, has a length of 12 km, with sidewalls reaching up to 800-1200 metres, a very difficult entrance and under the Muratbaşı Village’s Valla neighbourhood after a trip of 15 km. inside the forest; can be viewed from the place where these two streams meet. It is not possible to pass the canyon without equipment. The rough steep rock includes many wild animals such as eagle, vulture, hawk, falcon and many others.
