Othello Castle

Othello Castle is one of Cyprus’s marvellous historical sites that tells the story of the island’s rich cultural heritage. The castle’s name might ring a bell for those familiar with the work of Shakespeare and it is believed that his classic play ’Othello’, set in a harbour in Cyprus, is named after this very castle in Famagusta.
