Sarkent National Nature Reserve

The Sarkent National Nature Reserve is located in the Leilek district of Bakten province. The park covers an area of 40.000 hectares. It was established to preserve the biological diversity of natural systems and is home to animals listed in the Red Book, such as Brown bears, snow leopards, lynxes, golden eagles, saker falconsi and Gimalayan vultures.
